Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The hosting provider processes personal data (in particular access data, see server log files) on our behalf as a processor. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with IONOS SE. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of our website).
Server log files
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to us. This includes: IP address, browser information, operating system, referrer URL, date and time of access (timestamp), and the pages accessed. This data is not merged with other data sources and is processed to ensure a secure and stable provision of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Contact via email
If you contact us by email, the personal data you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of your message) will be processed in order to handle and respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries).
Cookies and local storage
This website currently does not use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies. We only use technically necessary local storage to remember your selected language preference (key: rops-lang). This storage is essential for the website to function correctly and does not require consent. Because no consent-requiring technologies are in use, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
Google Fonts (local hosting)
Google Fonts are hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google servers is established when visiting this website. Accordingly, no personal data (in particular your IP address) is transmitted to Google for the delivery of fonts.
Data sharing
We only share your personal data with third parties where this is legally required, where it is necessary for the performance of a contract, or where you have given your explicit consent. Processors (such as our hosting provider) act on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Retention periods
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. Email inquiries are deleted no later than 3 years after completion of the communication, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) require longer storage. Server log files are deleted or anonymized after a short period.
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
